And Jay racing for team Australia - so awesome! I still get goose bumps thinking about his win & the interview afterward the week he lost his daughter. It absolutely ripped my heart to pieces. His dedication to the sport is faultless. Can't wait to see him race in Colorado.

He is only out for a very short period of time, will be getting back to the states in a couple of weeks and will be seeing the Dr. again and having tests run to see how he's coming along. He said that ideally he would like to be back for Southwick so he can get some riding and training in to prepare for MXoN. He's a long way from leaving the sport. Chad said in an interview last night that ideally he hopes to be back in the US National's before the end of the season so he can be training for the MXoN - thus that would mean he could be racing in aus

Oh ya, seeing JS "spanked" by anybody would be great. Did you listen to his interview with Matthes? I suffered through t just to find out if he really did resign with L&M and will be on a Yami, which he stated is the case. He also CHA in case he does get beat, so maybe he thinks Dungey can beat him!

My family and I will definitely be going to AI, trying to sell myself on going somewhere that it's going to be cold to see a race is another story. I agree about the reading too much into things - I suppose if we didn't care we wouldn't be doing it. So I am trying my hardest not to get into the speculating game but it's sometimes difficult not to jump in when someone else does.

There's a pretty good group of Reedy fans who are trying to figure out what SX race to go to and meet each other as well as cheer on Chad in 2011. Right now St. Louis is getting the most votes - I myself am trying to sway everyone to either A1 or Daytona.

Found this on Transworld "Coming into the race, Reed was dealing with a sore neck and the rough Millville course proved to be too much for his injury. Following the race, he said that he will be going home to get checked out by his doctor with hopes of returning to action at Washougal."

Joe - Idk , I think something odd happened today - pulling off so close to the end of the race and not coming back for the second moto (VERY unReed like) no Tweets after the race and he's been pretty consistent about doing them, I am perplexed. I agree with the candor, one of my favorite things about the guy. I know he has alluded to the need for more frequent drug testing, which I too feel should be and needs to be addressed in this sport. A book, ummmm, something I hadn't thought of before lol, but hey he's a good businessman so it just might be something he actually has on the back burner. I can't or won't draw conclusions and will hope that we hear an update from Chad really soon.

I have to say that it looked like Chad had worked hard the past couple of weeks and was hyped up to come back and show us what he's made of. There is obviously some issue and I like to think that it's not Chad and put the blame elsewhere, but he has argued that point. Regardless, I will always stand behind him and remain a loyal follower. I am ready for Reedy to be back in form and if wishes came true it would have been so already. The positive side for today - he did get a good start in the first moto. Everyone has an off season - we've all been blessed that we haven't been privy to one before. That said, Chad will always be a legend of the sport - and I think he has a lot more positive to add to his story. So, bring on 2011!

I still have no doubt that Chad can turn this season around. I'm still behind Reedy 100% and know with some lady luck and hard work during the break he will get himself back where he belongs. I'll be wishin' and hopin' and prayin' in the meantime.
