Wed, 31 Dec 2008 06:53:21 +0000 http://www.ragamuffinsoul.com/2008/12/caption-please-29/#IDComment13310578 http://www.ragamuffinsoul.com/2008/12/should-your-worship-leader-go-to-your-church/#IDComment13195995 thats a tough question. i think we have to define what "goes to the church" means. correct me if i'm wrong but north point contracts worship leaders on a regular basis? in an ideal world i think that of course a worship leader should "be a member of" or "highly active" in a congregation but don't think it should be REQUIRED. we live in a christian society and world today where people worship more, connect more with a concert they went to last night than the regular guy/girl that stands up in front of them every week. in a perfect world would a deep personal connection with a person leading us be the preferred thing, yes, but should it be required, no. i think the only thing any of us should "demand" of our worship leaders or anyone who stands before us is that they are actively seeking God's touch and loving kindness that moves them to be one step closer to Him.
