My favorite performances were Keith Urban, Darius Rucker and the special needs choir that brought a tear to everyone's eyes. Also, Miranda and once Toby settled down..well, I like that song. Sara was a bit nervous at the start (who can blame her being absent so long for good reasons) but she settled in too and it was nice for the country community to stand up and tell her "Welcome Back". I don't think anyone was surprised at the awards with the exception of album. I thought it would be a "Speak Now" vs. "The Guitar Song" face off. Taylor deserved Entertainer of the year and she made definitely sure by leaving cards on the seats of her Europe tour audience, with the website where to go to vote for her. I also have noticed that Taylor's voice has now matured and no one can say she can't sing now. Carrie with Steven Taylor was definitely a fun time, although I personally was hoping that Carrie's surprise partner was Brad and they would sing their new song "Remind Me". Overall..a little bit country, and little bit Rock and Roll.
