Suzie- You should consider Global Network of Christian Ministries. Great men and women that value friendship and fellowship. Many have a background similar to yours. The International Conference is coming up starting this Monday in Humble, TX. You should check it out. www.globalministriesonline.com God bless!

Wow! What a great word tonight at 429! Vision and boundaries are key to success in life. We needed a reminder that our boundaries are what define us. Thanks for your sensitivity.

Pastor Scott Jones : THINGS I WISH I HAD KNOWN - part 4

Great post, Pastor Scott! I often find myself comparing "me" to "others" and always feel like I come in on the bottom rung. Decent at a lot of things, but not spectacular at any of them, while I have friends and acquaintances that are BLOW-YOUR-MIND unbelievable at them. I often find myself feeling like I'm not reaching my full potential and being a disappointment to God. Your "math" adds up, though! To God, it doesn't matter at all that I am not as good as some others in those areas. He just wants me to be the best I can be and it all looks the same to Him. Funny how small statements can bring big revelation. Thanks for that!

Pastor Scott Jones : ALONG CAME JONES - I've Just Got To Brag

What a great example of what Christ did for us! Hate to admit it, but I teared up reading this myself. We could all learn a great lesson from Spencer. "...he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted...to set at liberty them that are bruised," -Luke 4:18

Pastor Scott Jones : THINGS I WISH I HAD KNOWN - part 1

Great post! A reminder that living the life is so much more impacting than simply talking Truth. Your second area to model reminded me of a defining moment in my life. My father, the pastor of a church, sat down with my brother, my mother, and me in our living room and gave a deeply moving apology for allowing himself to get his life priorities out of order. He told us that from that moment forward, his priorities would be his walk with God first, his relationship with us second and pastoring the church third. He had allowed his job of pastoring to overtake his relationship with us and decided to make that right. It was a life-changing moment for me to see a person that deeply impacted my life admit to his flaws and make a conscious decision to change them. The memory of the example he set for me far, FAR surpasses any sermon he ever preached.
