Big Government : The Anti-American President?

Glenn Beck has spelled this out very well on a few of his shows, and I'm glad to see someone else picking up on this. It is clear to me that, with a cultural Marxist mother, a Socialist father, Communist grandparents, a self-described Communist mentor (Frank Marshall Davis) he was "indoctrinated" into his views during his young, formative years by those he was closest to. And as he matured he sought out the Marxist professors, among others, as he described in one of his books. He has surrounded himself with people whose philosophies are based in Marxism/Socialism -- some of whom are quite radical folks. I sure hope more people wake up and realize that our mainstream media failed us while they were experiencing the thrill up their legs because all of this information was out there long before the 2008 election.

Here's an excellent article -- from the NY Times no less! http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/29/opinion/29kobac...

I am glad biggovernment.com has posted this, as I welcome diversity of thought. Having said that, Mr. Jacobson's opinion is sorely misguided, based on emotion, and ignores the facts.

It never ceases to amaze me when people such as Brett Jacobson construct their arguments based solely on emotion and disregard facts. As if we're supposed to be brain dead and buy what they're feeling without using facts. Mr. Jacobson, here are some facts for you -- the ILLEGAL immigrants are here ILLEGALLY. It is a FEDERAL CRIME to be in the United States illegally. Plain and simple. This bill does not foster racial profiling, just as in any other case one must be suspected of committing a crime before being required to show proof of identification/legal status. The federal government has failed and failed again at providing the Constitutionally-mandated protection of our borders, and thus Arizona is wise to protect its citizens. In light of the drug wars and violence spilling over into Arizona they would be fools not to protect themselves. If Obama and the Dems have their way and amnesty is granted to illegal immigrants, perhaps they should include a provision whereby each and every American citizen is allowed to commit one federal crime of their choosing, with a guarantee of amnesty and a get out of jail free card.

Big Journalism : USA Today Invents Arizona 'Backlash' Story From Whole Cloth

I have been planning for years to move to Arizona when I retire, but recently have had second thoughts due to all the issues with the drug wars in Mexico and the crime occurring in Arizona as a result. Now that this legislation has passed and been signed into law, I can once again dream of the day when I will happily retire in Arizona.

Ann I have to agree with you. I can ignore a typo here or there, but I have seen way too many here lately. Having said that, I do love this site and the perspective the authors have to bring.

Big Government : Is ACORN’s Bankruptcy Claim Just More Deceit?

Ruse was the first word that crossed my mind when I learned of ACORN's filing for bankruptcy. It's just too convenient. Funny how they think they're fooling us.
