Capitalism with 3% annual growth does not work on an earth with limited resources. We cannot keep using our resources to create garbage. Do you know are greatest export to China is garbage? China takes our garbage and makes us breakable disposable gadgets, which we then fill our landfills with. So while we keep arguing about bail outs and foreclosures, we are rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. We need a fundamental shift on how we view this, our only earth, and how we run our economy.

If anything Reagan impeded the end of the cold war and the break of the USSR, not the other way around. It was Gorbachev that ended the Cold War, and he did against both Reagan and Thatcher's wishes.

I've been to Canada four times in my life (likely the love your life, Palin has been there more). I am from Colorado. I always spelled the Canadian "aye", like that, but I can't spell. Hate much? You hate a whole country, a whole religion. Is there anyone you don't hate? My guess is you will have to carry a mirror with you everywhere to find someone that you don't hate.

What was the sample? More Conservative? More Liberal? How was the question asked? My guess is that it is not a very accurate poll. I could take a poll, and likely get 100% saying that it was the liberal fault, or the conservatives fault.
