I think that you are putting way to much emphasis on the Underwood/Tyler duet, she won Idol he is a judge...symmetry nothing else. I do agree that country is becoming something else not sure what, and I think that the almighty record companies have something to say about that, it comes down to the $$$$, there are a lot of great artist that aren't getting the chance because they won't make the fast buck for the record companies!
