Yea theres a huuuge gulf of difference between Larry Craig and Anthony Weiner or When the filibuster is appropriate or appointments without confirmation. The cause of the protests may be different but each groups claim to protections under the 1st is not. There is no "You must be right" requirement to have those protections afforded to you. The difference is what side your on determines when something is acceptable and thats not much of a difference at all. Though i definitely give you kudos for at least attempting to justify a down vote

shrugs, i'm a big fan of the tea party and i thought bringing people to task at town halls were brilliant. What annoys me is how conservatives and liberals are starting to sound the same, even if it is different 1. when conservatives protest the liberals say: These protesters are fuddling up our democracy! they are completely unpratriotic. 2. conservatives respond: It figures the left doesnt appreciate our first amendment either 1. when liberals protest conservatives say (see above) 2. liberals respond: It figures the right doesnt appreciate our first amendment either Exhibit 2: 1. Liberal - 'The government really needs to step up and tax the rich more. the income gap is not fair' 2. Conservatives respond 'Your morals are not my morals.
