She gave birth to my grandmother without a hitch. The headline in one San Fracisco paper read, " 'GAS BABY' BORN HERE Sunrise Slumber for Painless Birth", and there was a photo of both. My great grandmother lived well into her 80's but my grandmother died of a heart attack in her mid 60's.
