My ex doesn't read this blog or even know about it - although I'm sure eventually he will find it. But as Dawn said, I can't be responsible for his reaction to this blog. He will likely just skim over it and say it's "nice" and then move right along. If not, I hope he can appreciate the story I'm telling here because this is his story too. We've both grown a lot since the day we were married.

Trying that with this transformer toy. I think I am going to take the advice from above and actually show him the toy - put it on a shelf above the potty. Love your idea of cutting out all other treats. And come back and tell me which bottle you like, just in case you win!

I did this last night. Awesome advice. Will keep it up from now on every time he goes in his diaper. Like the idea of wiping with toilet paper but I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet. Yuck!! ; )

I really like the idea of putting the toy on shelf. That may do it... because I think he's having issues visualizing the fact that Bumble Bee (transformer from John Bear) is really hiding out in my bedroom. So I'll do this tonight. Thank you. And - we use the plain old potty - but he does have a seat.
