Why do you feel it's ok to be placing blame on the officer because you have epilepsy? Perhaps you should think about the fact that you are getting a small, second hand account of the event. I'm assuming you were not there, nor do you know the officer or security guard to have heard the story as it happened. So have some respect for those out there being swung at and assaulted while you sleep soundly at night.
