As usual, the devil's in the details... Lets do a double take on those numbers. Particularly 2 stats I find very interesting. * 63% of public thinks projects in plan were included for purely political reasons. * 56% of the public opposes the stimulus So....63% of the public thinks the plan was for PURELY POLITICAL REASONS.... Yet, only 56% of the public is against the stimulus. Can we surmise that (63-56=9%) 9% are on the take politically or in DA UNION? ie benefiting from the stimulus so they just plain "don't give a rat's ass" if it was only for political reasons. I'd be for making that 9% walk around with big red letter "A"s on their chests. And 'A' isn't for adulterer in this case....although it is the rest of us who are getting screwed.
