The longer he carries on like this the more support he builds for the Abolish The Assembly Party. There ought to be one in Scotland too.

He believes in equal misery all round, like the good old socialist he is.

The most irritating thing about the media's habitual anti unionist adulation of Welsh Stasiman today was when they announced that he had won the vaccine race.

Gove appears to be hankering after the Norwegian arrangement still. He is also a danger to the Union and to fish. It is he who is standing in the way of our getting rid of the NI Protocol. He needs to be moved to that reforming department as soon as possible, before we lose Scotland and Northern Ireland. Social Care would be a good one, except that he might want to tax everyone out of their houses before they've died.

Is he perhaps pursuing this borders policy so that things look bad for the PM? Then he can come to the rescue as the next PM?

Quite right, Sammy, as you always are with your clear, trained mind.

Do everyone sign Mrs Foster's petition. It is the least we can do:

You are looking at this with tunnel vision, which the PM did not have the luxury of doing.

There is also the point that some countries like Germany and Denmark lost a lot of old and frail people in the Winter flu, before the Wuhan virus struck. Britain and Southern Europe did not. So they had more old and frail people for the Wuhan virus to carry away in the Spring.

Whatever is decided, the jumped up judicial activists must not have any more power over Government policy. Don't box the Government in, must surely be the guiding principle. Think of the FTPA. Think of the Surrender Directive. For God's sake stop legislating for the sake of legislating.

Frau Merkel wanted her out of the way for the CD leadership succession, just as Macron wanted Mme Lagarde (now at the ECB) out of the way for the Presidential election. So they stitched it up between them and the Eastern Europeans didn't get a look in.

Of course this is what should happen. Or, we could put that EU customs border across the Celtic Sea, instead of down the Irish Sea, and let the Southern Irish pretend there is no border between the North and the South, even though there are IRA smugglers and Garda patrols.
