LEHSYS : How to: Install Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 on Windows 7 64-bit

Tried to lower the compatibility mode to Windows 2000 mode. "sound card not recognized" when I try to define a new "user." The audio.exe file I have in ver 9.51.001.009 "Standard" has three steps, not 4. Step one (above) which has you identify the sound system to be used is not present. Anyone found a workaround?

I've had exactly the same problem. Program seemed to install well but "sound card not recognized." The audio.exe procedure has 3 steps, not 4 as in the explanation above. Step 1, "choose one sound system" is not included in the procedure when this file is "run." Obviously, the audio.exe file is a bit different. The version I have is 9.51.001.009 Standard. Wonder if the other people who have had the sound card recognition problem have the same version?
