People with mental or physical handicaps ask not to be called retarded because it is politically incorrect. So why can't one use the word "retarded" as it is clearly not associating it with handicapped people? It shouldn't be offensive to handicapped people since you aren't allowed to use the word to describe them.

I think this list is very objective. Most Americans lean one way or the other on the political spectrum, and flamehorse has praised the actions of both sides. The comments are a different story, and some of them really show how Americans have an "us versus them" mentality. I mourn for the "united" part of the USA.
