I do enjoy how crap Joyce is sometimes, even when it's motivated by the plot instead of the character. She clearly loves her daughter and would be a great mom if Buffy wasn't the slayer. And Kristine Sutherland is just fantastic.

I think it's the default internet need to explain why people are wrong. Like, I think a lot of this article's humor comes from taking satire literally for effect, which is the perfect mode to be in if you want to wind up Dudes on Twitter.

My headcanon is that Curtis isn't so much horrified by the fact they're bugs as much as he is just shocked by the visual of them churning in the flames. Those bugs were not having a good time.
