i strongly feel that soldiers deserve "special " recognition days 365 a year, not just veterans day and memorial day. you are feeding into the problem of lazy / ignorance ...way to go. Its not about the 4th of July, wich is a day to celebrate all our independance and freedoms. its about soldiers. soldiers that give it all for your ignorance.

As a Deployed soldier, wife and mother these comments concern me. how did such an inspiring article of soldier 's hard work integrity and dedication turn into a political debate?
