The top professors make the money they do for a reason, there is a demand for them. You cut their salaries in the UC system, they'll just get better paying jobs in other states. They would be better off cutting out all the nonsense majors like 'ethnic studies', and focus on majors that create high paying jobs. The state needs to cut funding to illegals, lower business taxes and decrease the regulatory burden of owning in a business in the state so the 'evil rich' can start investing their money in new businesses, and to stop the flow of businesses leaving the state to AZ and NV.
