Image, yes, but He gave him free will. This guy chose to deviate from the blueprint. A house can look real pretty on the outside, but it there's rot inside........

My husband and I used to joke: My ashes would be scattered over the Cowlitz River, where I know he would visit me, and his would be scattered over the nearest mall where he knew I would visit him. All kidding aside, his ashes are at Tahoma National Cemetery, now, where mine will join his when the time comes (or what's left after organ donations. I have pre-paid for my arrangements, so my siblings won't have to worry about it.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : No permit: Police shut down girls\' lemonade stand | Seattle News, Weather, Sports, Breaking News |

What a shame, for the girls. The police shut down a potential learning activity, as well as probably scaring them with their legal procedures. I remember my younger sisters and I had a lemonade stand during an auction my family had prior to moving (Kansas to Washington.) It kept us from being underfoot, and on a warm day in May, we ended up with some pocket money for the trip. But, that was in the mid-60s. Now, I'm thirsty. That looks like some really good lemonade, in the picture. Think I'll go make some............

I'm a HUGE fan of Jerry's old movies, and I don't recognize the man in the picture. It almost reminds me of Orson Bean. Last time I watched his telethon, he looked like he was at death's door. How is it that he is doing a tour????? I thought he dropped out of the telethon, due to his health.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Disney CEO: We can\'t annoy moviegoers with 3-D | Seattle News, Weather, Sports, Breaking News | KOM

I get just as much enjoyment out of a movie, watching it home on my 27-inch TV, using Xfinity or Amazon Prime. No lines for concessons or the bathroom, and I can watch them at 2:00 am, when I can't sleep. The latest Narnia movie was my first 3D movie. It didn't annoy me, but it didn't add to the experience. In fact, it felt like I was just watching a movie through my old Viewmaster, where it seemed like the scene was made up of 2D people/objects who were set into the screen like paper dolls in a diorama.. To be fair, this is probably more due to my poor eyesight (astigmatism) than the production of the movie, itself. I enjoy special effects as much as the next person; however, if the story isn't good (Narnia was great), I feel like I have wasted a couple of expensive hours. I also kept the glasses, and don't feel I should have to pay for them again and again.

I quit going to Costco not long after my husband died. I admit I got lured easily by new product displays. I could never get out of the store under $100, before, or after, I was shopping for one. Costco is a hoarder's delight, however. There is no way 1 person needs to buy in huge quantities. The quality of their meat was great, and we used our food saver for that; but, how can you break down and store safely a gallon jar of pickles or pasta sauce?
