Maybe this IS what we deserve. For years conservatives have sat on the sidelines while millions of babies have been murdered in the name of women's rights. We've allowed Hollywood to promote immorality with impunity. We've allowed our schools to be taken over by a teacher's union who won't even allow the children to be taught to read properly, much less learn accurate history. Don't get me wrong, I know ordinary Americans are busy with their families, their lives, their churches, and their jobs, but our apathy still condemns us. We have to actively protect our freedoms in order to preserve them for future generations. I can't tell you how many good, religious people that I know are completely ignorant of the political thundercloud that is bearing down on them, and most never bother to vote. It grieves me to my core, and I don't know how we are going to redeem ourselves in time to save our nation.

I remember this story now but somehow missed the part that it was the DOE who was the enforcer. I’m fuzzy on the details now but I also remember reading a story about Indiana making it legal for police officers to break down the doors of private citizens without having to issue a warrant. Seems we are in the brave new world of tyranny. Wonder what it is going to take to wake us up? Anyway, thank you so much for sending me the link. Gives me one more thing to pray about! :>

He has also effectively seized control of the banking system with his Doddes/Frank (sp?) bill. I have a friend who works in the banking industry and she says the new regulations are impossible to follow and that smaller community banks have no hope of surviving the intrusion. She says that it is easily as bad as the healthcare bill, and that they regularly speculate that it was intended to nationalize the banking industry.

I think that as these young people begin to see that liberal thinking takes away their rights (for example the right to initiate prayer at their own graduations as we've seen this month), they become more determined in their civil disobedience. Some of these kids have shown incredible courage, and I am so proud of them.

I heard this man on Hannity's radio show this afternoon. He laid into Paul Ryan for showing leadership by offering a budget plan. He said that Ryan didn't know anything about playing the political chess game. It made me so angry I wanted to spit. We finally have a republican (Ryan) with some courage, who goes out on a limb to offer some sort of starting point for the budget discussion, and all "we" can do is shoot him in the back. Trump is not on our side. Any conservative that votes for him is sadly lacking in intelligence.

It frustrates me that so many conservatives seem to be too wrapped up in their own lives to pay attention to the political matters that will eventually bind us and our kids in slavery if we aren't more aware. We need to study the tactics of the left, have a PLAN, and use their tactics (sans corruption) against them. How come we aren't willing to engage in the fight? It seem that all we want is to be left in peace, but there will be no peace if we lose this fight. It would be a shame to lose it because our heads are buried in the sand...or in our kids soccer games, dance lessons, baseball games, gymnastics......

@ pendit1 I live in Texas and one of the concerns I have about Perry was his intense support for the trans-Texas corrider. That makes me suspect that he has progressive leanings. He is definitely establishment, which is not really what I want for this election. I'd vote for him if I had to but.....I'd rather have an outsider.
