Some of us have always been embarrassed for her to be held up as an example. I'm 46 and practically the same age as she is. What she has done to impressionable girls has set the women's movement (such as it is) back 200 years. The attitude seems to be that it is fine to be treated as chattel as long as you get paid royalties for it.
