Then it came to me that maybe we did win or at least helped you Patriots in other states with what we did. For the first time in my memory the DCCC had to put 10 million dollars into the state to hold the seats they had. All of the congressmen that were in a race had to spend their own money and fund raise as well. they spent a ton of money in this state so they could win and they did. However, the DCCC now doesn't have 10 million dollars to send to say Florida or Missouri not only that but our incumbents couldn't send money to other incumbents because they had to spend it themselves to save their own butts so I am feeling a little better that maybe we did contribute to the earthquake. However the funny thing is that everything except the open seat is listed as solid Dem. I live in MA and I know that there are NO POLLS taken in most of the districts. The only thing that you can go by is lawn signs. (It's a tried and true way to do your own estimates). For instance Barney Frank is running scared big time. He has never had to campaign and doesn't even have a campaign staff! Jim McGovern is in big trouble from Marty Lamb (this is a district that I work in so I count the signs) And in my district MA-1 John Olver is in trouble. Bill Gunn (my guy) just got endorsed by Newt (BTW these all come with cash) Scott Brown and the big donor is the MittPAC. He definitely needs more money but as our district doesn't have a large TV market so he doesn't have to spend there but radio spots are still a bit pricy. When Nikki Tsongas has to run on I am the only woman in the delegation, then you know that they are in trouble! Nikki Tsongas' slogan should be "I sit when I pee so vote for me!" lol. They called for a tea party and used the 912 date and also asked for money. If you recall all the sites were not taking donations or asking for money except Freedom works . Also Dick Armey was the head of it and they didn't want the GOP to take the movement as their own. I guess they had a big meeting in November and all of that was ironed out and the people that started the rumors were fired from the tea party patriots. It was something like that but it is all water under the bridge now and Freedom works is a great help (for me anyhow) since I have no idea what I am doing.
