<description>I would sign this now.  Studded tires cost the state too much in road repairs, especially in this tough economy.  I learned to drive in the midwest, real snow and ice country and we had snow tires never studs.  Most people do not need to work on the days of really awful weather.  I do, I&amp;#039;m a nurse and must get to work on ice and snow days.  I&amp;#039;ve never had studs, never will.  If you need traction use chains. </description>
