Hey meismyles, I have the same problem! I can't take any photo (also video) via Camera app, it not save screen shots any more! iPhoto correctly detect iPhone but no photo on it! For you info restoring backup (NOT FIRMWARE) is safe for jailbreak!

connect your iPhone to computer using WiFi (google for usb version) then tell winscp to connect to your iPhone iP address using SFTP protocol(port22). you can see iPhone ip address in wifi setting

@andy, Yes you can't install apps more than 9 pages (~128). This limit exists for both iPhone & iPhone 3G
