we need to all START NOW contacting ALL SENATORS NOT ONLY THOSE FROM YOUR STATE with the message NO VAT!!
for whomever doesnt know what VAT is -- its a federal sales tax imposed on EVERY SINGLE ITEM YOU PURCHASE FROM A PACK OF GUM TO A LUXURY YACHT! and the percentage WONT be one or two percent -- these bums have to somehow pay for TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS of their irresponsible spending, borrowing and printing.
and keep in mind, this tax would be ON TOP OF the increase in prices of EVERYTHING we buy which will inevitably occur due to CAP AND TRADE; and ON TOP OF local sales tax; state sales tax; soda tax; cow fart tax -- well, you get the picture. it aint gonna be pretty. obummer and congress spend, we pay!

my rep also is opposed. we had a townhall yesterday and I went even though I knew I wouldnt have a reason to
SCREAM MY HEAD OFF!! i live in a small town in georgia and there were over 100 people there - at noon when most people are at work. i was glad to see a good turnout.
i recommend contacting ALL SENATORS not only those from your state and tell them NO.
call, fax, email, snailmail -- whatever!!
