Those supporters are the people that CPS needs to begin looking at now if there are any children in those homes...did they have knowledge of the torture that both Hana and Immanuel suffered in the Williams' house, do they condone and implement that same "child training method"on their own kids, using the Pearl handbook on how to mentally, emotionally, and physically abuse their children (and get away with it), and most importantly, do those supporters actually believe that Larry and Carri Williams were within their rights in such treatment of Hana and Immanuel? All eight of the other Williams' children were removed from that house in late July and it is the information gleaned from interviewing each one of them that has finally led to the arrest of the "parents".

Scoobie, it was after Hana's death that the hospital and coroner called in CPS and that was the very first time that CPS was ever notified about any of the nine Williams children, according to Sherry Hill, a spokeswoman for Washington state's Children's Administration. The kids were all home-schooled and their house is in a very isolated area, way out in the country. Now the Williams' did have supporters up here, during the investigation since Hana's murder, spouting the standard baloney about what "good" parents they were, such "nice" people, how they could never be so cruel, and that Hana was a "rebellious and difficult child".

According to one of the older boys, they played the bible on tape and Christian music for her, while she was locked in the closet. He also said that closet was about five feet long and approximately three feet wide, with the only light switch on the outside of the closet. I read this in the "Probable Cause" document that KING5 posted along with their news piece on the arrest of Larry and Carri Williams, yesterday.

This case is an utter blight on the state of Washington, a shame on our beautiful Skagit County...to think that these two children were brought here from Ethiopia, supposedly adopted with the hope of finding a new and better life, only to be subjected to horrors that even animals are protected from in this nation. Forced to starve and go hungry in this land of plenty! And then beaten for "rebelling" when they were caught stealing food! Locked in a closet, in the dark, for days on end...hidden away and so far from humanity, what must this poor girl have been thinking during her last days? Stripped of her dignity and self-worth, she died...aching, cold, hungry, and alone. Helpless and hopeless.

The only thing that John Williams was "working" was a simple piece of wood, when rookie, Ian Birk, spotted him.

Dehumanizing the victim with such smears does nothing to change that cop's predicament.

Are you saying that when the SPD holds a news briefing, we should not believe their statements, either? Police Chief Diaz did a quick turn-around at the press conference held on Tuesday, bringing into question the details that had originally been released by police spokepersons after the shooting on Monday.

Deputy Chief Metz stated that only about a minute passed between the time Birk first saw Williams crossing the street and the time the fatal shots were fired. He said that Birk was stopped in his car at a red light as he headed south on Boren when he spotted Williams walking in a crosswalk "carrying a wooden board and a knife."

"He could see the blade of the knife and the man was doing something to the board," Metz said.

So, one minute later, John Williams, master carver, was bleeding to death on the pavement.

No twisting necessary here...it was Mr. Williams' safety that was in jeopardy, the moment that rookie cop spotted him!

Clueless? I doubt it. Doing damage-control? Most assuredly. With possibly one whopper of a wrongful death lawsuit looming before them now, they must try mingling with the masses in a half-assed attempt to assuage the growing anger that is roiling all over our state (and up in BC, too) since the man the cop dropped (in a minute flat, from the time of first visual contact) was a well-known craftsman, skilled in the rare art of traditional native carving, the very spiritual creations which are a proud hallmark of this Pacific Northwest we live in. John Williams was not breaking any law; he was never even given a chance to understand the precarious position he was thrust into and most likely, never knew what hit him.
