yeah, at the top where it says "logged in as..."
click on your name and it will take you to the intensedebate site, and you can change it in the edit profile section.

i don't plan on participating on this forum anymore but thought I would respond to your inquiry, as it seems like more and more comments go under moderation lately, and
you can not have a constructive debate when comments, or responses you make show up a day later. you cannot delete your account on intensedebate, but you can change all of the personal information (like putting down a fake email address or something)

also, intensedebate does not allow you to delete your profile, you can just change the information in your profile.

KCRG...due to the "limited" moderation on your site, I must say Good Bye. it was fun being involved with spirited debates with those on this forum, but when more and more comments are being held under moderation, you don't really get a good debate.

thats the point...they don't listen to the people anyway. if the LOST got turned down in CR, they would attempt to push it through again and again until it eventually did pass.

the more money this city takes from me, the less I have to spend on other things....but if marion voters end up passing the LOST on thier redo, my spending will be limited to just necessities regardless..(it is just as close for me to shop in marion as it is in Cedar Rapids so the wasted gas argument doesn't work with me)

it's too bad the voters of this city passed a tax on themselves...did you actually think that passing the LOST would result in property taxes being lowered?

i retract my statement that they should eliminate her now, but i still stand by my statement that certain crimes should result in immediate death once found guilty.

the city seems to do what they want anyway, I am sure that we would be having a revote on LOST right along with marion and the other communities who voted NO as I am sure they would've told us we were just confused and didn't know what we were voting for as well.

They only change their minds when they think their chances of re-election will be hurt (ie:supervisor salary).

wait till the flood gates open, and they start taxing more for sweetened drinks like soft drinks. then what next, snack food,...tax foods that are over so many calories a serving?
Government should quit trying to protect people from themselves. we are becoming a nation of pansies because government th inks they have to do everything for us.
as much as I dislike smoking (a lot of my friends are smokers though) and enjoy coming home from a rare night out not smelling like smoke, i knew what to expect when I would go into a bar...that there would be smoke. i see both sides of the fence, but think that the owners should determine if they want smoking or not. What will happen next? bars can only serve buffalo wings with no more than 4 wings in an order because calorie content is too high?

i am a non-smoker also and don't particularly care for second hand smoke myslelf., and don't really like the smell that would stick to my clothes when I would go out at night---BUT---

when smoking was allowed in bars, there were certain places we went for dinner when our child was with us, and certain places we would go when we were by ourselves. when I went to a bar, i expected to encounter smoke and knew that going into it.
