Spark | CBC Radio : Starting this September, Spark gets a new timeslot and a new length

I think what you're already doing is superb, and I'd just like to see more of the same. Perhaps you could go a bit more in depth on some of the interviews (there's so much more content to be mined than what currently makes it into the show), but in general I agree that the current format of edited interviews is good for the flow of the show.

Spark | CBC Radio : To soak or not-to-soak: Can sidetaker.com settle the debate?

I'm not sure I'd ever have the guts to post a private dispute for all the world to see, but it's an interesting concept. And it's fun to browse other people's private disputes! Everyone loves the chance to share a bit of wisdom with others. By the way, I voted "not to soak". A 10 minute soak is fine, and I do that myself, but allowing dishes to accumulate in the sink makes cooking a frustrating chore.

Spark | CBC Radio : I Heart Old Tech. Do you?

You don't need to "need" a fountain pen for any particular activity in order to use one. If you ever write anything, you can do it with a fountain pen, and probably enjoy it more as a result! I agree with you that much of today's tech is sadly lacking in quality assurance. That doesn't mean that all old tech is perfect, but it does seem to be built with longer-term usage in mind.
