Obama has asked each of us to be willing to do our part in making America a better place to live. Being a retired nurse, I've seen so much waste of health care dollars go into paying for 'nurse managers' in insurance to try to find ways of cutting hospital days, more wasted into paying doctor's to do the same in their 'reviews' of other doctors, more waste in hospital nursing staff needing to occcupy full times positions to explain to inusrance company why each patient needs to be hospitalized. And, in the meantime, our insurance premium keeps climbing. Come January, 2009, my premium will be $1,462 per MONTH with Aetna. I am more than willing to try to see where I can fit in to help cut such extravagant and wastefull spending in the health care industry.
