A 3 frames per second cameras makes you do stupid things. :) And the worst thing is that my wife didn't let me delete more than 10 pics (she loves the dogs!).

Just to show you the power of a good archive, take a look at Google in 1998:

I agree that we generate a lot more data than a decade ago. My recorded childhood memories probably don't go beyond 300 photos and some 30 minutes of video. The other day I took 300 photos of my two dogs in 15 minutes! That's how crazy this digital era is.

I believe however that we will certainly have access to old data. Technology is there to help us do it. Just look at the Web Archive for example ( http://www.archive.org/web/web.php ) You can find websites from 10 years ago! It's actually a lot of fun! :)

Not sure about this virtual model tool, however I do know that people buy clothes online - specially if they are at a good price.
My wife just bought her mother some clothes as a birthday present. It worked particularly well for us because we could send her a gift from here (she is Brazil!).
The reason it works is because of the free return system others mentioned. The first purchase my mother-in-law made had all the wrong sizes. She sent it back and got the correct size back. Since then she became a loyal customer of the store. Price, quality and convenience are the reasons she enjoys buying online.
In case you're wondering, this is the store: http://www.posthaus.com.br/

Interesting point. I personally believe that shorter posts are more popular. I would spend more time on a site with 3 short posts than on one with a single long one. Although in the end it really depends on the author, I guess.

Hmmm. I think I'll stick to the traditional jobs for now. But it does sound tempting as a part-time thing. If you build your credibility slowly you can retire on this afterwards! :)

Hey, did you know that the new Google favicon was created by a Brazilian? Go Brazil! The guy is an undergrad student at Unicamp, one of the biggest universities in Brazil.
You can find more about the new Google favicon at the oficial google blog: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/googles-ne...

I'm trying to figure out if your title is technically a "Link Bait" or not. What do you think? Wikipedia defines it as:
"any content or feature within a website that somehow baits viewers to place links to it from other websites"

Garoa means drizzle. São Paulo is known in Brazil as the "city of drizzle"...
