Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Vent

Ten Common Sense Tenets Tenet #1: A true public servant is measured by clarity of judgment and a demonstrated, unalterable pursuit of what is in the public’s best interest. Tenet #2: The right thing to do is the best that we can do. Tent #3: Admitting when we’re wrong takes courage; fixing the wrong takes integrity. Tenet #4: People of character do not fear being questioned or challenged; they welcome honest discourse and the finding of fact. Tenet #5: Corruption is the driver of greed, with self-interest and a fear of losing power its’ parasitic passengers. Tenet #6: Know what matters most. Stand up and speak the truth as you know it, or shut up and suffer the consequences. Tenet #7: There is no such thing as reverse discrimination; there is only discrimination. Tenet #8: Discrimination exists and it comes in many forms; good people control it by intellect, manipulators conceal it with semantics. Tenet #9: Affirmative Action is a form of discrimination; judging one by the content of their character is the antidote. Tenet #10: Our Founding Fathers had it right: Character matters, and term limits compliment good government.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : America's Wish List

;3-Permit individuals NOT affiliated with groups having obvious agendas (such as the clearly biased ACORN) to work as Census workers;4-Contribute to, or join, organizations such as the NRA to prevent HR45 Blair Holt Firearm & Record of Sale Act of 2009 from being passed;5-If you haven't already changed your Party affiliation as a Democrat or Republican, change to Independant/No Party Affiliation or ANYTHING other than Dem. or Reb.;6-Roll back Congressional pay to a flat 100K maximum; 7- Provide Health care coverage to members of Congress only while they hold office; then make them pay for health care coverage when they no longer are in office; 8- Support the flat tax or Fair tax options; 9- Drop out of the United Nations, stop providing funding for the UN, and ship the UN HQ to another country; 10- Demand the Federal government spend only real money and mandate a balanced budget.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Is the Media finally catching on to your feelings on the spending?

As long as the Media remains tilted hard left, balanced and accurate coverage is difficult... it goes against their beliefs AND self-interests. Don't buy into the feigned indignation. We must go about living our imperfect lives attempting to rise above the "misinformation" (we used to just call it "lies"). You get what you pay for. We the people bought snake oil from multiple salesmen. The good news: sooner or later, we had to get to this point as a call-to-arms. Take comfort in knowing that this sleeping giant of a country IS waking up, albeit slowly. But our present dilemma goes well beyond those currently holding office. Our culture has changed (courtesy of our centers for higher education). My concern remains that our countrymen may become SO bitter with myopic and unethical "leaders" that we may swing too far to the right. If enough of us keep God and family first, perhaps we'll be lucky and see another Reagan-like leader again.
