I wonder what Liberals would say about this Add for a job? Looking for a semi-talented person who has trouble passing a basic competency test. Candidate must not have any advanced education or experience and should feel comfortable working in group environment where individually motivated persons are chided and threatened by the rest of the workforce. Raises will be decided by seniority alone, your hard work is not necessary. White European Americans and African Americans preferred. Americans who do not show any loyalty to another country by adding it before American, need not apply. Special Consideration will be given to illegal immigrants if they register to vote in the next election. Please do not bother to show up wearing nice clean professional clothing as this will be considered as not keeping it real. I'm not saying, I'm just saying:-)

OK if you thought HR 3200 (Health Care Bill) was bad enough, wait there's more. Now the Congress is debating a bill the would create another Director (Czar) who would head an organization that would be responsible for researching how to control the American people on their energy uses. The bill would authorize $60 Million Dollars over 6 years. This would create a Social and Behavioral Research Advisory Committee. WHAT IS THAT??? Do we need this? Do we need to spend another $60 Million on this committee now? Is this the American Way? If you ask me, no. You should really read this. Surprisingly this bill is only 5 pages long so it's actually something you can read in 10 minutes.

The real point is that most Min Wage jobs are younger people and people who do not rely on the income to live. Those who make Min Wage as a means of survival are probably already on Section 8, Food Stamps, WIC etc. These are the people the Liberals are really trying to appease. As long as they keep the Min Wage increasing they can slowly continue to raise the Poverty Line and keep a strong voter base. Higher Min Wage does mean less jobs and higher inflation but most of the jobs that will be cut will effect working Kids, Students and retirees. LIberals aren't worried about them. I know this is an extremly cynical view but I believe it to be true.

I prefer to think that he believes what he is doing will actually make the US better. This said I still think he is truly a confused and misguided person. His view of the US is very different than most american view. This is true with most Liberal people. They however specilize in making the masses think this is how the rest of feel.

I was really trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm trying really hard to not simply be one of the "I hate Obama crowd". But he's making so dam easy, or hard depending on your point of view. If I were to take the hard right point of view I could simply say the whole dam thing was a lie but I tried to keep to the facts. He admitted that he was now even completely sure whats in the bill but then he goes and sells it as the best thing for our country. That's kinds like selling someone a car you have never driven or even looked at, promising it's the best vehicle for you. Wow, I didn't even mean to make this connection but that's kinda like GM, hhhmmmm.

I also love how our President actually thinks there are Doctors who decide to have a child's tonsils removed because it's more profitable. I don't have kids but I'm pretty sure that parents are not bringing their kids into a surgeons office when they have a sore throat. I'm also pretty sure that it's the surgeon who gets paid for that and not the pediatrician. Again Which Country is it that Obama is from, it's kinda like he doesn't even know how the system works.

I don't know about you all but I counted 5 statements that he made that could be called bald face lies, or at least could not possibly be proven correct. I also did not hear him answer hardly a single question he was asked. I know, I know that's political speak 101, but this it Mr. Change we can believe in. Mr. Transparent. What's with all the double speak and run around. We understand that the President has a doctor following his ass around, but what about Congress? He didn't say whether or not it would apply to them.

It's taken me a few days to really digest Presidents Obama's Speech on Wednesday night. If we were not in the middle of "The Great Recession" as it's been coined and unemployment wasn't at 10% and rising than maybe I could stomach his taking credit for rescuing the economy. What did he rescue? AIG, GM and a few other huge Wall Street players might have gotten bailouts, but rescue the economy. I don't think so. I've heard professionals range in opinion saying we have seen the worst to the worst has yet to come. Let's see where we are in a year or so longer before anyone says or takes credit for rescuing the economy.

The problem with this site and reason I have not posted as often as I once did is that too many people want to just vent. There is no organization to the group here. I joined the national 912 project which has more organization but much fewer people signed up. I like your idea and have been trying to find support for such a group of local protesters who would do just that. I also like the idea of setting up small combative protests accross the street of ACORN protests and sites like that. I've never been able to find more than one or two people who would show any support of the idea. We dam conservatives want to do everything on our own, we're not wired for all that group mob stuff. :-(
