To get 23,000 more to attend after ruining all the established donors and relationships shows Griffin is Distefano's lackey in his drunken subservience to the bottom line. CWA budget was a drop in CU's overall expenditures. I went to a couple political panels this year, with three of the four panelists from the Right each time. Unimpressed, not about the views, rather from the knowledge and insight offered. It was if they simply had read Politico.com the night before.

Traffic and road modifications are more the symptoms than the issue. The present Jewish center has always been small, and that location was most likely based on price way back when. They are growing and want more space. Since the religion demands walking on the Sabbath, this adds many safety concerns to what also was an old country road that hasn't seen much improvement despite all the growth in the surrounding neighborhoods. I think the Jewish community would be better served, as well as the city and everyone's safety, if the city didn't let them expand to across the street because the old country road still is not walkable and this adds even more growth to the area without much change to the road itself after the project is finished. Some drivers use Cherryvale like it's Foothills Parkway, and they are truly the ones who create the need for annoying speed bumps and 25 MPH zones, as well as the "Drive Like Your Kids Live Here" signs.

My goodness, I attended the panel "Everything You Think You Know about the 2016 Election is Wrong." The panel was three self-acclaimed conservatives and one CA political consultant. One of the three was an ex-congressman from Oklahoma, another was Robert Kaufman, who has tied his interests to Rubio's success. They dominated the discussion and spoke mainly about the Republican candidates and their platforms, including their strengths and weaknesses. As far as I could tell, these three conservatives were on panels throughout the week, and all of them were in fact breathless as they arrived to this panel as they had just been on the Republican comedy hour panel and that discussion went long. Perhaps in the future you will avail yourself of the opportunities to attend panels before you type generalizations on social media outlets.

I prefer the CSU game later than the first game of the season. Gives it a build-up, especially if both teams take care of their cupcakes. CU goes to Hawaii this fall, that should be fun for the players to think about. Nebraska at home in 2019, maybe both teams will be relevant by then, and Michigan there next year to see what Harbaugh's turn-around looks like. Everything else looks like the necessary miserable climb out of the cellar.

Their identity is they are soft and they are dumb, which doesn't seem remotely in line with their coach. They still show immaturity which cannot happen after years of being a young team. With that said, I had a doctor tell me it is sometimes easier to heal a broken ankle than heal a bad high ankle sprain, and everybody with the slightest back strain knows it incapacitates every simple little thing you try to do.

Trying to stay positive after that display. Assists to turnovers for a winning team should be what?, 2:1. It was 5:18 last night. From the article, Scott wants the ball but he had essentially one shot all game. If he's in too much pain that he can't play effectively, then let him rest. XJ going out certainly didn't help, and Booker, what is there to say that has not already been said. I guess this year is about having the young guys develop and experience P-12 basketball, and then hoping Scott returns for his senior year. We've been saying CU is young for several years now. It's about time that ends. Definitely need to recruit players who can shoot the ball.

As unfortunate as the system is, if Boulder doesn't get $4 million from the feds to do this, some other community gets the dough and gets the attention for future monies. It most likely won't make a significant change, but in a world of doing as little harm as possible, this seems less intrusive than many other projects, like the Central Park overhaul or any number of the new three story developments that have changed East Pearl Street over the last decade and the ongoing changes to 28th and 30th Street. They should focus their time on improving the safety of the car movement at Broadway/Baseline, Arapahoe/28th, Arapahoe/30th, Pearl/28th, etc... and probably take all cars off the Hill business district.

Not trying to dampen the euphoria, but how about donating that outrageous entry fee to the Red Cross and spending 15 hours on continuing cleanup throughout the area, or perhaps in your own hometown. Might have the same satisfied endorphin buzz by the end of the day. No tee shirt though.

The CU Buffs website article certainly was more detailed. I don't care one way or the other whether any article is positive or negative. In fact, it would be very refreshing to read someone write the truth, like Lappe is trying to accumulate as many early season wins as possible because the Buffs are getting killed in the PAC-12. Last year's 19-15 is a perfect example of exorbitant high hopes and then the dismal league record. Th early season cupcakes are always at the Omni Classic, although CSU changes this now, and the non-conference home bunnies who are looking for a paycheck and not necessarily a game. Hard to recruit to a loser, so the cupcakes are in a strange way crucial for Lappe to get better talent than she's had and been attracting.
