Big Hollywood : 'It's an Honor': Justin Timberlake Says 'Yes' to Female Marine's Invite

I cannot help but view this with suspecision as a way to promote their new movie "Friends with Benefits." After all, the movie takes place in New York and LA potentially shutting out 'Fly Over Country.' Low and behold, the two stars of the movie are going on dates with those who serve in the military. I cannot help but view this as a way to bring positive publicity to a movie that otherwise a conservative site such as BIG HOLLYWOOD would trash for its loose convictions on sexuality. Just something to consider.

Big Hollywood : Elitist Roger Ebert Trashes 'Battle: Los Angeles' Fans

I just saw "Battle: Los Angeles" and the only thing refreshing/original was a Hollywood war movie about hero-ism and sacrifice. Everything else was at most mediocre. Editing was terrible, even headache inducing. Too shaky. Ebert needs to understand with the CinemaScore rating that many of the 'A' ratings came from under 25 males. Everyone else rated it a B. However, this is a critic who gave "The American" and "Salt" 4 stars!?!?!?

As a strong and devout Christian, I find this sad and lame. Christian faith is from the soul and heart...no need to get a certificate to denounce God and Jesus Christ.

"Once" wasnt nominated for Best Picture. It won an Oscar for Best Song for "Falling Slowly." If you enjoy an old fashioned, low key movie then rent "Once." I enjoyed both "I Love You, Man" and "Duplicty." Both movies will carry themselves through word of mouth. I think they exceed standard genre pics. "Knowing" looks terrible. Of course, its doing well!

First, there are characteristics to this current recession that make it worse from the 70's/80's. Also, the deregulated growth of these past few decades are what's behind this economic mess. What goes up must come down.

Big Hollywood : KNOWING is favored to win the weekend, but is I LOVE YOU, MAN poised for an upset?

I think "Knowing" looks like a cross between two Nick Cage movies, "National Treasure and his bomb "Next."For the sake of creativity in Hollywood, I hope this movie under performs. "Duplicity" was entertaining, but not as good as "Michael Clayton." Good script and performance through out the movie and is topical covering the shady side of business. This will be more of an adult oriented, word-of-mouth movie. And I caught a promo screening of "I Love You, Man" last week and enjoyed the 'bromance' aspect of the film. Very funny! Hope it's number one this weekend.

I saw an advanced screening last night of 'Duplicity' (I work at a movie theatre), I can tell you its a much better film then what's being advertised. 'Knowing' looks cliche and familiar.

Big Hollywood : Why Obama's Teleprompter Gaffe Tape Matters

Spineless? I never said Limbaugh WAS the republican party. I dont like that guy, but do not follow lock step with everything the Dems believe just because I voted for their guy this time. A concept those deeply partisan just wont understand from my Republican family to my liberal neighbors in Cap Hill-Denver. Careful who you name call, they could live closer to you then you think!

The two party system is corrupt and bows down to the will of big business. The corporate welfare from both parties, which is happening on a daily basis, is proof enough. The GOP seems to be more tied to the big business especially when some (not the majority) of them defended the bailouts claiming that businesses, not the people, should be the only ones getting government money. I'll check out that website. Personally, lets stick to the Constitution. It's lasted this long.

I don't mean to be clever or manipulative with the birth certificate issue, its just how I saw things. During a crisis, don't chase pity issues, speak on relevant ones. I think the Republicans need to argue conservative principle. Considering I voted for Bush twice while living in Ohio and Obama last fall, I think I have some perspective. I saw Ron Paul last year and liked him. I like him even more now. I still believe that the loony over compensation of criticizing Obama stems from lowered confidence from the fall out of the Bush years.

"The only chance for a GOP comeback is to fight as nastily as the Democrats have fought and nastier if possible." I'd be careful with that one. Obama is popular and the first African American President so stick to conservative principles and not resort to low blows. The best comeback for the GOP is inflation and stagnet 401(k)'s. Watch. Hell, I'll vote GOP if it gets that bad since I'm a moderate independent and all. If FOX News, Bill O’Reilly, Ingraham, Hannity, and even Rush Limbaugh wont mention the faux-scandal that is the teleprompter story then give it a rest. You Republicans will chase anything to bring Obama down like the birth certificate conspiracy theory. Some even claim that he can be impeached. At least wait for him to break the law first. I think many Republicans are over compensating criticizing Obama, which they began on day one, because of their lowered moral from the Bush years. The playground bullies got embaressed by the entire school and want to fight. Finally, I'd rather have my President take orders from words he wrote on a teleprompter then have a President take cues from his vice President and corporate lobbyists.

Obama won in the largest electoral land slide since Reagen or LBJ. Hell, Obama almost won the state of MONTANA for crying out loud! Thats when the GOP really need to sit back and question their values if a so called 'black socialist' almost carried Montana. And he is everything you claim he isn't. At least mainstream America and the world disagree with you and everyone on here.

This is pathetic. As a nation, we spend a lot of money on so many things. And I'm upset that I cant pay my medical bills on my low salary!?! Puts things into perspective! I think every government employee and all Americans should take a pay cut to sacrifice for the good of the country. I'd take a pay to cut to lower the deficit and pay for wounded troops.
