We were up against a lot in that matchup, but the Hawks stepped up to the challenge and gave themselves a chance. One thing is certain in my opinion; we DID NOT lose that game because of an inexperienced QB. We lost because, in the end, OSU's D made the bigger plays. There's a lot to look forward to going into the Minny matchup. Speaking of the Gophers, the Hawks should have plenty of built up frustration to take out on them after the last couple weeks. I'll give Arkansas State some credit, they do have some talented players on that team, but common hawks, put 'em away. You let teams hang around like that or your asking for trouble. Seems to me like maybe a little Mich game foresight going on, but who knows, they did look great at times, stale at others. Some positives regardless and definitely things to learn from. Lowe did look rough at times, but he'll get it. He'll be better next week, the week after, and so on. Good to get him that experience early, however, it would be nice to get Prater back(obviously). Definitely a game to get the heart pumping a bit. Got the win, and a win is a win.
