I have used both and found the A20 to be much better. My headset is post recall so that might be the difference. But to each his own. Thanks for the comment.

www.110knots.com : Airspeed and Altitude control two schools of thought

Thanks Stephen. If I didn't know you I would think this was a spam comment (I get them all the time) things like "Wow I didn't think of that, great points here" with a link to a porn site are some of the more common comments. :-) I have a list on the sidebar with some other aviation sites that I found to be pretty entertaining. Check them out. Thanks again for the comment. Make sure you vote Navy vs Air Force above.

www.110knots.com : ForeFlight Mobile HD iPad Review

I don't like to file via foreflight since it does not provide previously used ATC routes. That is almost required in the busy northeast. Your point is just another reason I like flightplan.com. Thanks for the comment. PS; I can't wait to see some sort or datalink WX for the iPad.

Thanks for the comment Greg, I agree with you regarding bouncing around in the airplane and clicking on things you don't want, that's why I really like the lock feature on the approach plates. On the brightness issue. I also agree, but have found that if I turn on "white on black" in the settings menu this works really well (You can also map this feature to triple click of the home button). It simply inverts white and black, giving you a black chart with white airways and a green route. It also works great in Jeppesen Mobile TC (they just added brightness controls to their app and it works great). On the aircraft position thing. If you press the cross-hairs button in the upper right hand corner of the screen it will center the map on your airplane. If you only press that (it will light up) and you don't touch the screen it "may" follow you as it does in the map application on the iPad. I will give it a try tomorrow and let you know if it works. Overall it's a great app (not a GPS replacement) but still a great tool. Thanks again for the comment.

Hello George, I think you would be okay with the 16GB model if all you want to use it for is the Aviation applications. You might want to go for the 32GB model if you think you would use the ipod features. Also you definitely want to pick up some sort of screen protector that cuts down on the glare (the one at this link is supposed to work really well) I am placing my order today. http://www.powersupportusa.com/accessories/ipad/h...

I have to get that book. I have heard about it several times now. That coffee cup picture is cool but it has generated several comments to me regarding the idea of placing it on top of the panel (I don't blame them). I have to add a caption on the site "the cup is empty" I am an IT guy and would NEVER place a drink anywhere near electronic equipment. I was waring my Ray Ban Aviators. Got them as a gift and didn't know about your line of sunglasses at the time. They look nice. Let me know if you would like to place an add on my site. Thanks for the comment. :-)
