It has been the US policy to maintain the balance of power, or the safety of the world threw deterrence. This policy enacted back in the early fifties during the start of the cold war has been the prime of the late TAC and SAC command that forms the TRIAD of US DEFENSE. This systems has gone threw countless redesigns, and refit with the changing of the world chess board of power. Many organization like the DOD, Home Land Security, NSA, Norad, ISA, NAVY INTENLIGENCE, US AIR COMMAND, US SPACE COMMAND, IM6, German Intelligence, French Intelligence, NATO as a whole, ECHELON, US Special Operations Command, the list goes on, have had to adapt themselves to current, or future events that may tip the scale of this balance of power. It is important to stay ahead of the curve, and think outside the box when it comes to protecting our allies, and our interest in the world. It is not a matter of question, but a absolute need in US and Ally interest.
