Agreed! The point I was making is when it comes to drunk driving is usually the drunk driver lives.

Sad part is probably the passenger died and the driver lived. That's usually the way it works out. The responsible person ends up living.

And the Rott did what? Rott's have really good temperments and usually if they are trained well you have 0 issues with them.

That is actually some nice data. Better then above where you lumped Rotts and pits in the same category.
They are not even close to the same.

Rottweilers can be dangerous but not even close to the same temperment as pits.

They dont need to be the king of the pack. Rott's are usually the fun police. But most generally get along fine with other dogs and people.

Problem with pit bulls are the owners. Pitbulls like to be the king of everything around them. Around their owners they are sweet dogs. Around other strange dogs they want to be king of the pack and that is where owners get in trouble. Dogs are pack animals and the pit bull always wants to be king of the pack. That is just bred into them. Owners need to realize that and take precautions when around other animals or strangers the dog doesn't know. Doesn't matter if the pitbull wins the fight or not he still is going to try and make sure he is the top dog even if it costs him his life.

I've run into a similiar experience with a pitbull and owner at a dog park. His dog attacked mine. I'm a CHL holder and he was lucky his dog didn't end up dead. Instead I stuck my foot to the side of the pitbulls head. Owner was Pi ssed I didn't wait for him to get his dog, which he was on the other side of the park. His excuse was that is how his dog plays. If your dog "plays" like that its best to keep it at home. No one wants to "play" with a dog like that.

I dont get it. Why would they auction these small stores? Would seem to me that whoever wanted a license should just have to apply for it. Pay a fee and get a license. That is the only way to prevent a monopoly. There is no reason they shouldn't issue a license unless there is some zoning restrictions that prevented it.

Anyone care to explain what the deal is here?
