John Nolte - Good on you! I've never thought of her with your perspective. I am a Palin fan, but have not been able to convince myself that she is of "world leader" stature (primarily by the way she speaks; which belies her smarts and diminishes her "world leader" effectiveness) for me to vote for her as President. Still, I now understand more of what she's already been through. If she could be like Ms Thatcher, who took speech training to elevate her eloquence, Palin would undoubtedly be my candidate.
