Breitbart.com : British MPs expense X-rated movies, horse manure

The government are always looking for value for money for the taxpayer. Now, they could set an example, they could do the following: 1. Move the houses of parliament to an area where it would cost much less to run, in a more modern, energy efficient and easier to maintain building. 2. Build an MPs hostel on the same site as the main building, no need for a second home, much more efficient in terms of costs (no second home allowance needed) and easier to control costs. Supply them with competetively priced furnishings and essentials, and an on-site subsidised canteen, again all geared towards better cost control. 3. A clock on and clock off system for the purposes of salary calculation and the administration of disciplinary action for non attendance, excessive sick time and poor timekeeping, in line with the rest of the country. 4. An independant Performance appraisal system and a quick ref score chart sytem to help voters see at a glance an overall performance rating for each MP. Just some of my ideas, others might have more.
