strange cousin susan : Upcoming

Trade that pink trenchcoat in for a yellow mack, a dark grey cap, patterned sweater, coolottes, blue tights, and a mysteriously changing-from-scene-to-scene pair of boots and perhaps...perhaps...although I definitely have the Romana II hair thing going on! =)

strange cousin susan : Scarlet Street! Poor Edward G.

And also, regarding the Nimon, as about as scared as I'd be of them would be scared they'd make me dress the way they do. And insist on some crazy mask to make up for my lack of natural horns. Lt. Styre from The Sontaran Experiment put me in mind of the tip of a penis when I watched over the weekend. It must have had something to do with his outfit, too, but good lord, it was disturbing.

Yeah, you're totally right about the classic sets, but all the movies listed were pretty classic. At least none of them were no-names. "Freaks" was one of them. And the ones I already own (except "Freaks," as I own that as a proper DVD) were got via various public domain outlets. =) Plus, how can you go wrong with Joan Bennett AND Myrna Loy, even if the movies themselves weren't so great? That's right. You can't! ;-)

strange cousin susan : Tuesday Companion Trivia

But of course. I think in this case, "ridiculous" is a code word for "even more adorable, if that's even remotely possible." I don't recall the kung-fu Sarah! Jane!, either, but the jogging...oh, heavens. The jogging...

This turned out much better than I thought it would! Now with the majority of the captioning completed, I can focus on the actual article and maybe I'll complete it this weekend!!

Oh, I hadn't thought of that, but I just finished captioning all of the wee screencaps. But I decided to have blank images in the article itself (with instructions to click for larger, captioned images) and will use the Fancybox plugin caption thing to identify the serial name. =) Fancy, *indeed*!

strange cousin susan : The last gasp of Fashionista Fever

No worries at all. =) Yes, the last installment. I could fawn for hours over S!J! (as you can bear witness to, at least in abbreviated form), but there's no fun if there's no snark, no matter how adoration really is underneath. I do have something in mind for a Liz Shaw project, but have managed to lose much of the momentum behind it. I think I need to pop in a Doctor Who serial - any serial, any serial at all. It's been weeks since I watched it, as caught up with TSCC, Cybergirl (Cy = adorable!) and most recently, The Broken (WTF? Seriously.). I'm thinking about going back to the Key to Time Series, or perhaps jumping into Jo's era to keep the Pertwee power fresh whilst I wait for the action figure. =) Wait. Liz Shaw Fashionista Fever? OMG. That's perfect and may have some potential, more than the whole hair thing I'd started...

strange cousin susan : Day of the Clown (66)

I would concur and as much as I want a new tattoo and am not longer freaked out by clowns the way I used to be, this will not be on the short list for the next tat. I'm still thinking the TARDIS key or something... :-)

strange cousin susan : In the nomenclature of today's youth...

The breakdown is about a third for each group: people thinking we look alike right off the bat, people who think we look alike only once they know we're sisters, and those who see no more resemblance then we do. Most of the fam falls into the latter category and I've noticed more people tend to think we sound more alike as far as how we put words together and form sentences (certain phrases, words, inflections) than look alike. =)

strange cousin susan : The Officially Jealous of Colin Baker post

I have a hard time with the headband for a couple of reasons: 1) Olivia Newton John's video for Physical, something we've definitely discussed in the past =) and 2) I, ummm, well, I...I used to wear headbands like that. To school. But I never wore legwarmers. That was the sister's thing. Mine was headbands. =)
