Have it your way. We'll agree to disagree.

Worshippers at the altar of keeping their jobs, although I expect a few might see the light in due course. It's not until we replace every car with non-owned autonomous dial-a-ride vehicles will this nonsense cease. How far away is this?

Perhaps Scotland needs more love from us unionists instead of keeping all this carping and nit-picking at the forefront? Maybe then they might feel less inclined to seek separation.

Ok, less pollution from the vehicle itself, but what about the environmental cost of building them, including rare metals, and then the damage from the generation of massive amounts of electricity? We have to look at the whole picture.

This is getting more and more bizarre. We have a virus that is so deadly the only way we can find it is by testing. And yet flu is given virtually no attention despite it leading to as many deaths among the elderly. I'm bemused.

That's rather shifting the goalposts. Voltaire and Conservatives don't exactly seem like good bedfellows. We'll have to agree to differ.

But that's exactly what you are doing with this diktat to schools on economics. Sorry you can't see that it is just indoctrination. Any educated man needs to open their mind sometimes. And then to enact law on 'free speech' (only for universities on the basis of a very few examples) is nonsense. All law should be based on overwhelming evidence.

Hypocrisy? Free speech for some yet not when you want to examine things like the capitalist system. Even some universities (Manchester) are re-examining the orthodoxy of financial systems. Surely, Mr Bald, you can see the inconsistency?

You think brexit is going well? Ask the small business federation. Ask the fishermen. Ask the hauliers. Ask the northern Irish traders and people.
