Granted that is DEFINITELY not the norm but sounds like a awesome work environment. We have to keep our interns (script kiddies) on a short lease. users no longer have admin rights to the box by default and it is given on a per need basis.

Nothing lame about it. I've been a PC user since I was 10 years old on my first Tandy 1000. Today I enjoy using my Powerbook (PPC) for certain things, My XP server box, and an ASUS EEE 900 with XP on an SSD. I can safely say that 95% of the world does NOT use Windows because I know for a fact that alot of the world has adopted variations of Unix, Linux and SUSE. As well as Ubuntu and other variations. The rest of the free world cant possibly all agree on something for money that you can get comparable for FREE. not to say that you get what you pay for in this case because many times the FREE OS's are better than the $$$ OS's. In any case, even though OSX is not free, it will take its place in the world of computing if it hasnt already.

I have no qualms with him. On the contrary I could learn alot from him. All he has to do is change the policies he hands down to magmt, which in turn hands that down to the CSR's standard operating procedures. Not sure that he even knows about this. I would be flattered if he did. Although price gouging might actually make its way up the corporate ladder, even in Mexico.
