<title>igoY : Change Unknown Device name of PS3 in Media Sharing</title>
<link>http://www.igoy.in/change-unknown-device-name-of-ps3-in-windows-media-sharing/#IDComment42816617</link>
<description>Hey Tommytinkroom, You didnt create a new string name &amp;quot;FriendlyName&amp;quot; Assuming 00-1D-##-##-##-E5 is your PS3&amp;#039;s MAC address, in that key, you need to RIGHT CLICK &amp;gt; NEW &amp;gt; STRING. Then Name that string to &amp;quot;FriendlyName&amp;quot; (F capital, N capital). Once that string is formed, Double click it, and give it a value of your Desired Name. If you still have any problems changing the name. Give tell me the name that you want to have for your PS3 and I&amp;#039;ll make you a reg file, which you will have to just download and open, and it will do the rest of the work.. Also is your PS3 connected to your Router/Modem/PC via Wire (Ethernet Cable) ? </description>
