But it was a bad error in a close game - that will kill you over time. Especially if Santana has no faith in you out there. Let's not sugercoat this-Murphy we all know has fielding issues. That said-he does not benefit from catching balls one handed. Not sure which Met coach is responsible for him and training him-i would start with you need to catch the ball with two hands. Will not go crazy beyond this-but he needs to focus on the defense as well as his hitting. I haven't seen him drive a ball to the outfield deep-hate to bring it up but is the toe he hurt during the World Baseball Classic bothering him? Castillo and Castro are pathetic at the plate-Castro still is fat and Castillo-well! If the bats we count on don't deliver we are going to have an issue. Think Reyes and Wright are having a rough time getting started-have to stay patient there. Still think the Mets should have got Hudson and released Castillo but that's an old story-I'll let is go.
