name one player that was tapped up , and is present in our team. Even the acquisition of potential stars is handled quietly , just so not to disturb the transfer market and boost the prices. Fabregas is a different issue however. I wont say that people , including players , that represent the club have acted in a well thought , respectful and most notably serving to barcelona 's interest , BUT this is clearly an exception. He is too close to many of our players both in and off the field , is catalan etc. Does this justify all the press circus , generated or helped to carry on by our people? obviously no. Nevertheless take into consideration the next time you mention tapping up fabregas history , or marcheda , and even the fact that arsenal has been condemned in court for tapping up bpth these players from barcelona . And if you are kind enough name one player that has been tapped up by barcelona in the last 10 years for example .

Scrappy , you have a scrappy sense of logic. Last year henry was an automatic starter and guardiola has praised him continuously no matter his performances mostly for his professionalism. Generally speaking footballer attributes decline at different rates and certainly there is a different age for each one of them when it starts to happen. Some examples that show the dramatic differences are maldini - ronaldninho , stam kluivert , schevchenco - and so on. Henry was gradually losing (due to injury , motivation or age limits) his pace when he come to us , that was obvious.He also developed a tendecy to go down very easily something far from notable during his arsenal days and he also lost what was left off his finishing touch last year.Whats left is the work rate (funnily he forgot all about that when playing against arsenal as well) and professionalism which is something that you have to give to the guy.You know because hes a legend and not once did he complain to anyone about a young starlet taking over his place and time in the team.

Hang on a minute , im starting to question these type of "interviews". It was like a day ago when messi was asked : Have you expressed to him via text message that you’d like to play with him again? catalan barca? Rosell claiming this? Seriously , name one catalan that he tried to attract to the club . I only remember foreigners that he brought/proposed to bring to the club. Not that theres anythithing wrong with it , but it reminds me of laporta promising beckham back then in 2003 and the latter eventually ended up in ....MADRID! LOL. This kind of claims, especially compared to his recent history, mostly look like he's shooting to score , and not just missing the the net , but kicking the ball out of the stadium altogether. Im pretty sure it was just politics - laporta set very high standards and the easiest option for rosell was to "outcatalan" him ,in order to seem promising and different. Dont dismiss the fact that the vast majority that voted were catalans , and making the elections about them rather about the global barca fanbase- (that might be vivid , passionate and regular followers/contributors) was of great importance , because , you know most of foreigners DONT vote , catalans do and are like the 90% of the voters. Also it was a good chance to take advantage of his opponents since the other candidates did not include this in their campaign but rather supported a model of expanding barca.Well the catalan base decides who is the president , its not wise to forget them or even look like neglecting them , even if what you do is just sweet talk before the elections . His statements were on the borderline of racism and extremism at times but im pretty sure thats over now because the elections are through. He can be a very good president , since he has the connections and can make things in transfer and commercial market easier for us and its not a minor detail that he was on the board with laporta when the reform of the club took place ,and has been monitoring closely the club since then. He knows what goes well and what can he try to improve ; we will see tomorrow if he is on the right track , after the meeting with the coach . He must not intervene in the sporting area thats of great importance. Guardiola wont let anyone interfere with the sporting plan , if he is assured of this he will sign the contract proposal that rosell claimed to be a 6-year one(as long as his first round of presidency can last).

Messi was not confident when it came to finishing today , oddly. He will come around , and some people will be forced to eat their words even if they try dismiss him again for some bizzare ridiculous reason. He can score a hattrick with this kind of peformances , if the argentinian midfield gets better and more willing to push forward rathen that just hang on the score.
