Buffs.tv : Blog Poll Week 8

And that's the meat of it. I am so frustrated with the team I am at a loss for words.. No way I can write an article to describe that

Buffs.tv : Wow!

Our defense played out of their heads for this game. Maybe their best stop was the first drive of the second half. Can you imagine the fire and brimstone int eh Texas locker room after going in at the half down the the Buffs? Well Texas gets the ball to start the half and we shut them down on their first drive. A huge stop! We all know how it went from there. I am stoked that we have made the transition to Hansen. This is a huge step forward for the coaching staff. They can put the father/son bit behind them and focus on the offense. Hansen may not be at the highest level right now, but his upside is so much higher than Cody's. Thanks to Cody for all the hard work and effort. We wish you all the best and are excited to have you on the sidelines now and in the future

The Buffzone Blog : Here is a formula for bowl eligibility

Here is the problem with your formula. At 5-3 in the Big XII there is a strong possibility that we would go to the Big XII championship. If that happens we would most likely lose to winner of the South. That puts us at 6-7 and ineligible for a bowl.

Buffs.tv : 10 wins?

It's not unachievable. But I think we need to take this one game at a time. A win at West Virginia would be huge for the program especially on national TV after the last time we played on ESPN at night. If we win at WV, the whole season might hinge on the Kansas game. If we win at home -- Big XII North Championship is a very realistic possibility. Of course there are a lot of ifs in this scenario. :)

Buffs.tv : Blog Poll Week 3

Hey give me a break. I think nobody has any clue where to put Va Tech right now. Billingsley has them at 18. Houston might be a little high. I know they didn't play last week, but Sagarin doesn't even have them ranked at all. I guess that will all sort itself out against Texas Tech this week. Go Buffs!
