Yet another way to waste city funds. Also, how long untill some city employee lets a laptop wih all the phone #s on it get stolen, or someone hacks in and get them all. What a bonanza for Identity theft felons and the like. Also, what other "interesting" uses could our 'La-La Land' city council and their minions come up with when given access to such a wealth of private information ???
What's wrong with just letting the local Radio & T/V stations & Newspspers do what they do very well for free.?? Also, there already is an Emergency Notification System in place on Radio & T/V networks that could also be used. In addition, there are the cyber networks like Twitter & several others. No need for another city expense !!

Too bad that this money, (that the government doesn't have), could not be used to replace the Sellwood Bridge.
That really needs to be done, and should not have to be paid for only by the people of Multnomah County.
I'm not sure that more streetcars are all that necessary !!
