I emailed Design Happens @ HGTV as well and haven't heard anything yet. The rules did state that the winner may need fill out and return some legal paperwork within 5 days. So we may not know until next week. I didn't get an email, so I know it's not me. :-( Congratulations to the winner though!!!

Does anyone still think the winner doesn't know yet, because it could be live? I remember watching the lucky couple in Saginaw, MI that won the 2009 Green Home and that looked live. I'm in central time and MI is an hour ahead which would explained why it was completely dark for the ambush. The rules did state that the winner could be notified on or about 6/20 - 6/23, but that they had the right to change the date. Any thoughts?

On this blog. You just need to answer the question: What are you doing to make your home more eco-friendly? They also ask for your email address. The official rules say..."All entries must be received by 12/11c on June 28, the last day of the applicable Entry Period to be eligible for that drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per Entry Period. Multiple entries received from any person or e-mail address in excess of the stated limitation for any Entry Period will be void." "Potential winners will be notified by e-mail..." Good luck!

Thank you Superfan, HGTV and Carrie McGee for the opportunity to win this beautiful piece of artwork! I'm so thrilled to read all these blogs about how everyone is incorporating eco-friendly practices into their every day lives. I wish more people did! It really doesn't take much effort, but has such a huge impact. My family and I have cut down on energy substantially by replacing all the windows in our house last year. We also recycle just about everything we can, buy local food from the farmers market, shop at our local food co-op and use green cleaning products. We've also just started to incorporate native plants into our landscaping and have a rain barrel for watering. mblask@mindspring.com

Thank you Gail! It's a beautiful piece of artwork and would be a wonderful addition to my home. I did go to http://blog.hgtv.com/design/ to enter and noticed that some people are entering their email address in their blog and others are not. Would HGTV know our email address from when we created our account, so we don't need to include it in our blog? Just thinking of privacy.

I was pretty bummed about the "wow" comment as well, but it could have been said to throw us all off though too (I only hope). Would the person have been notified by now if they were the winner? If not, there's still a chance for us all. Thank you super fan for all your blogs and keeping us excited at the hope that WE could be the one there enjoying a cup of coffee and reading a good book in the sitting room. Good luck everyone!
