well, ram is always faster than using hard disk. so eventually your computer will use harddisk for graphics memory, but it won't make much difference...

there is no harm in using open source softwares. Use Ubuntu Linux (its easy these days... damn easy) and openoffice.org is part of it... so why pay for all that. piracy is illegal... lets not try to defend it.

ReviewSaurus - The Techie Dino! : Microsoft come up with IE for Mac OS X - for some market share!

@Adrian - That is true in the case of techies like us. There are many people who dont even know about firefox and I personally know a lot of people who have installed firefox or any other alternative browser, however still are hooked to IE. And more over the market share is just not dependent on the number of installs. It can't be accurate for sure but the browser information data from ISPs, from website owners gives a closer picture and the market research companies take all that in account :)

I completely agree to that as well. Pirated windows 7 or in fact any older version of windows have been a concerning point for microsoft, however even after all this they haven't realized that they can easily make billions of dollars from just the indian market. May be by releasing a stripped version of windows 7 that's specific to indian markets. What do you think about that?

ReviewSaurus - The Techie Dino! : Should Twitter moderate trending topics?

Hey prats, thanks for taking your time to leave the comment :) I know that twitter will definitely not moderate any of these fun meme's as they'd have to face the backlash from the community. Honestly, its just an opinion that I have and the idea behind this post was to find out that what exactly others think about this. I'm still in favor of the fact that twitter should actually moderate the fun meme's as they really don't add that much value. As you said that trending topics are mirror of what is happening across the twitter universe - but it definitely isn't the mirror for a group of people who are interested in making a topic to trend just for fun. We all literally jumped on making jaljeera a trending topic with no real purpose but fun, I'm sure that there is more space for better topic than just fun :) Although, I have to say that It was fun working with you all on making the jaljeera topic as a trend and as you said that there are people who won't give a damn about this.
